Sister act pensacola little theatre9/15/2023 ![]() ![]() Rocky wrote and directed his first musical in 1998, which opened on The Little Theatre Off Broadway, a local theatre he opened that year with his mother, Elvia Martinez-Montez. By the time he was 19, he was stage-managing full productions, acting as properties master, and in the dance troupe. Rockcliffe Montez (AKA “Rocky”), a San Antonio, Texas native, started performing in local community theatre at the young age of 16. With her contribution of decades of experience in entertainment and production, Elvia is an integral part of the Gumshoe Society team. Washer Masonic Lodge, San Antonio, Texas. Elvia has also produced events for the Ghost Seekers of Texas, creating and managing fundraising events for historical locations, such as the Pensacola Lighthouse and Museum, Pensacola, Florida, The Alameda Theatre and the Nat M. From that point forward, Elvia and Rocky became a business team, directing, writing, and performing in numerous theatrical events across the city. Partnering with her son Rocky in 1998, Elvia opened The Little Theatre Off Broadway in San Antonio, Texas. My family had their high hopes for an experience go down the drain and honestly don’t even care to watch the real show anymore.Elvia Martinez Montez began to show her love for preforming in elementary school, when she landed the role of lead narrator in a Texas Heritage performance, which was such a success her school took the show on a tour of several other schools in San Antonio. Elvia continued her path of stardom in high school (Fox Technical and Vocational High School), as the starring roll of Billie in Born Yesterday, under the tutelage of respected San Antonio Theatre producer and Director Elaine Curran. ![]() ![]() The show seemed like a money maker for the independent folks hosting it. When the goodie bag was received after asking for one, it had the cheapest trinkets in it and didn’t even include a shirt or anything. They paid for the VIP ticket and almost didn’t receive their bag of goodies until they asked someone from audience how they received their bag. There are no prizes to be won other than $25 Amazon cards and $100 cash prizes which they mail to you, seems very sketchy. Someone from production crew sound the wheel for you and no one is allowed on stage. 2022 taping and living one of their bucket list items, but when they arrived nothing was as described in the ticket purchased. They were excited to attend the October 13. My mom and her sister both in their 70s have been watching the show for years. I will never watch the show again and I hope my mother doesn't either! Save your money. 2 trips (one to Paris and one to Vegas, a scooter and a Nissan sentra) a guy guessed $31450 the other guessed $29k. They tell people to act like a fool with excitement for what? NY'ers aren't excited about a $250 prize I felt like most of the games were fake, host was fake, producers fake (all for TV ratings). If you spun the wheel and you land on $1 then you can only win $250 (how ridiculous! ) Imagine the plinko game was $2500 and not $25K. Secondly-what you see on TV is NOT what it is live in NY. Why would they sell tickets when people can't even see anything? We couldn't even see none of the games on stage. I got tickets 2 days before the show but the tickets I got and where we were seated was practically behind everything. I took my mother to the show in Westbury NY. Unsure whoīenefited from all the ticket sales, but they made some money. ![]() Real show, Just glad I didn't have to travel as far as some others did. The show also included a trip to New York and Paris Plus kitchen $21,000 plus a little more leaving no winner. Many thought it was a rip off when the actual retail price was revealed of The final showcase was a slap in the face of this great show 46 year To try their luck at winning and a chance of being called. I think it gave me more people an opportunity She was greatly disappointed as she was not aware When she able to travel, visited the show several times in Las Angeles ,but neverĬalled "To Come On Down".
